Daniel Cormier Talks About Lesnar At UFC 227
At the UFC 227 pay-per-view over the weekend, UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier once again spoke publicly about a potential upcoming title defense against former UFC Heavyweight Champion and reigning WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

After Demetrious Johnson lost his UFC Flyweight Championship after defending the title over a record ten times to Henry Cejudo, D.C. spoke about how Johnson deserved an immediate rematch.

When he made the comment, fellow UFC commentator Joe Rogan then put him on the spot, asking why if Johnson deserves an immediate rematch for holding the record for title defenses in his weight class, Miocic doesn't deserve the same for holding the record of three title defenses in the UFC Heavyweight division.

"(Miocic) should (get his rematch), but three (title defenses) is a lot different than 11," Cormier said. "Also, if Brock was staring at Stipe, that would happen. If Brock Lesnar doesn't make it to the fight for any reason, I'll fight Stipe again. That is not a problem. There is no reason I wouldn't fight Stipe."

"I'm only fighting Brock because I'm fighting Brock," Cormier added. "But if he doesn't make it, I'll fight Stipe again."
