— On a recent episode of Backstage Pass / WrestleVotes Radio, it was reported that current WWE NXT General Manager Ava is being discussed within creative to have a more prominent role on TV. Ava, who is the real life daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is expected to have merchandise as well as “character ties” to her father and his “final boss” persona. This could lead to her playoff off of a similar role as a way to make her a more prominent on-screen character. From a backstage perspective, Ava is said to be well-liked and positioned to have a huge future within WWE.
— WWE is looking at this year’s Money in the Bank to emanate from an international location in early July. While nothing is confirmed at this time, it would align with WWE’s very public strategy of taking more and more of their premium live events to international destinations. For 2025, WWE is in Canada for Elimination Chamber this weekend and in France over the summer for “Clash in Paris” before heading to Saudi Arabia in 2026 for the Royal Rumble.
