We are live from Las Vegas at UNLV Campus. Corey Graves is the lead announcer in English, which is why he wasn’t at Smackdown. You’d be shocked about how many emails I received about him not being there tonight.

We see AAA Lucha legends Triple H, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, because they are of course the first thing you’d see on any lucha show!

They showed Penta arrive in the building.

Rey Mysterio arrived as he’s here to watch Dominik challenge for the AAA Mega Championship tonight.

Dominik Mysterio arrived and was cheered.

Hijo Del Vikingo was shown and was booed as if Rian Johnson walked into a JJ Abrams convention.

They had the traditional opening ceremonies with representatives from WWE and AAA in the ring. Rey is somehow already in the ring, as is Shawn Michaels. Apparently they are up for The Flash in James Gunns’ DC Studios universe? Lilian Garcia sang the HELL out of the American national anthem, but when doesn’t she?

Penta came to the ring to a big reaction. The crowd chanted “No Fear” in Spanish. He welcomed everyone to the show and said tonight is going to be a great show full of the tradition of Mexico. He teased going after the Mega Championship. The crowd loved it.
