As previously reported, an all-out war broke out between the TNA Wrestling and WWE NXT rosters this past Tuesday night on NXT TV, culminating in a TNA invasion that saw TNA stars standing tall over the NXT talent.
According to Fightful Select, the TNA invasion of NXT is intended to be a long-term storyline involving both companies. The report also noted that TNA does not currently have any TV tapings scheduled after Bound For Glory 2025 next month. However, they do have a show planned for Orlando, Florida, in November, although a venue has not yet been announced. This strategic timing suggests that TNA and NXT have a plan to continue the storyline well beyond Bound For Glory, with TNA possibly planning to tape episodes of iMPACT at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
Furthermore, it would not be surprising to see something unconventional occur on TNA programming following Bound For Glory. If TNA does tape iMPACT at the WWE Performance Center, these events won’t be advertised on ticketing websites for the time being. Additionally, WWE is reportedly planning to increase NXT’s presence on TNA programming.
Last Tuesday night’s NXT featured several familiar faces who had not previously appeared in TNA and NXT’s recent partnership. However, some notable names were left off the show, as there were certain talents that WWE chose not to include. It was also reported that reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy), have been pitched to participate in this storyline.
