During last night’s WWE NXT No Mercy premium live event (PLE), there was a noteworthy slip-up. Before the one-on-one match between Josh Briggs and Je’Von Evans, a graphic at the bottom of the screen displayed the names and photos of the broadcast team members.
The graphic listed Vic Joseph, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Kelly Kincaid, and Mike Rome. However, instead of Kincaid’s photo, a picture of former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin was shown. It remains unclear whether this was an error or intentional, as Irvin left WWE in 2024 after giving her notice. Currently, WWE’s ring announcers include Alicia Taylor, Mark Nash, and Mike Rome.
