During TNA’s recent televison tapings in Edmonton, NXT wrestler Ridge Holland suffered a leg/foot injury that prevented him from continuing on in his match and that required assistance for him to get to the backstage area. While the injury did seem serious, no details were known at the time.
However, earlier today Holland himself provided an update, posting to social media that he suffered a Lisfranc injury, which would be a mid-foot injury that affects bones, ligaments or both. The severity and thus recovery time varies but given that he is undergoing surgery, expect Holland to be out of action for several months and possibly even a year or longer.
Lisfranc Injury…Surgery Friday.
