Jade Cargill suffered a gruesome gash above her left eye during her match at last week’s episode of WWE Smackdown and it likely had an indirect effect on a botched finish that ended up being talked about both online and internally within the company. Now there’s an update on Cargill.
According to pwinsiderelite.com, the backstage word making the rounds Monday at Raw is that Cargill escaped from that incident needing only stitches to close the wound. She did not suffer from any other injuries except the cut itself and did not require any reconstruction (plastic) surgery to her face.
The report added that internally, WWE officials are hoping that Cargill will be cleared for in-ring action in a few weeks and interestingly, there is no word that she will even be pulled off the road while she recovers.
