During last night’s 6th Anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite, former WWE star Andrade El Idolo made a surprising return to the company by attacking Kenny Omega after the opening match. He officially joined the Don Callis Family following the attack.
According to Fightful Select, El Idolo has signed a full-time contract with AEW. However, details regarding the length and financial terms of his contract have not yet been disclosed. Updates will be provided as they become available.
El Idolo left AEW in late 2023, and at that time, Tony Khan spoke positively about him, despite reports that Idolo did not inform the company of his departure until near the end of his contract. He signed with WWE in 2024 but was released in mid-September, reportedly due to a disciplinary issue.
