Backstage AEW Update On The Future Return Of Jay White

As previously reported, AEW star Jay White generated significant buzz in the wrestling world when he hinted at a potential return to the company with a cryptic tweet stating, “Ready?”

In the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers, an update on White’s return status was provided following his tweet. Sean Ross Sapp noted that White is likely “trolling” fans, as he has been sidelined with hand and shoulder injuries. These injuries may take a considerable amount of time to heal before he can return to the ring.

The report indicated that White’s initial injury was a hand injury that would require several months to heal. Additionally, he had been dealing with a shoulder injury that needed further attention, necessitating treatment for both.

Currently, White is expected to be out of in-ring action for the remainder of the year due to these injuries. This has posed challenges for his faction, the Bang Bang Gang, as his stablemate, Colten Gunn, is also sidelined with an injury he sustained in July. White last competed for AEW on the March 29 episode of Collision, where he secured a victory over Kevin Knight in a singles match.

There is no update yet on when Jay White will be able to return to AEW television, but further information will be provided as it becomes available.
