The card for the first WWE black-and-gold brand special of the new year is starting to take shape.
Two matches were officially announced for the NXT New Year’s Evil 2021 special scheduled to take place in January on the USA Network.
First, Kyle O’Reilly of The Undisputed ERA emerged victorious in the number one contender showdown on this week’s show. With the victory, O’Reilly advances to the NXT New Year’s Evil 2021 special, where he will square off against NXT Champion Finn Balor in a rematch of their recent NXT TakeOver bout.
Karrion Kross will go one-on-one against former NXT North American Champion Damian Priest in another bout announced for the big special event, while Dexter Lumis was revealed to be the host of the show set for the new year.
With that now known, featured below is an updated look at the currently advertised lineup for the NXT New Year’s Evil special scheduled for January 5, 2021.

On January 6th, NXT holds it’s New Years Evil special. We’ve got our first two matches:
- * Damian Priest vs. Karrion Kross
* Finn Bálor vs. Kyle O’Reilly II (NXT Title)
