Monday’s episode of Raw was one of the rare shows as of late that aired in pretty much the same form that it was originally written, though the exact placement of matches and segments did undergo changing over the course of the day.
Dialogue for segments and promos was also re-written as the show drew closer, but PWinsider.com reports that this was mainly due to Vince McMahon’s “vision” and the writers simply complying with his expectations and giving him what he wanted to hear.
Several segments on Raw ran longer than planned, which did not sit well with WWE officials.
The Keith Lee vs. Miz & John Morrison handicap match was originally supposed to be a singles match with Lee taking on Miz. However, in both situations, Lee not booked to win.
The recruitment of Ricochet to join the Retribution stable is a storyline that is expected to continue to play out over the next few weeks on Raw.
