Tony Khan checked in on social media with messages for AEW fans a couple of times during the Dynamite: New Year’s Smash special event on Wednesday night.
Twice during the show, which was the final episode of the weekly two-hour AEW program on TNT before the company transitions to TBS next week, Khan took to his Twitter page to post a couple of thoughts.
“What a match right now on AEW Dynamite,” wrote Khan during the ten-man opening contest. “It’s so great to hear Jim Ross back at the desk calling the great wrestling action on Dynamite: New Year’s Smash now on TNT!”
Prior to the main event later in the evening, the boss-man of All Elite Wrestling resurfaced on social media again with another message.
“It’s main event time NOW on AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Smash on TNT,” he wrote. “Thank you to everyone joining us for the last Dynamite of 2021 [and] the last Dynamite ever on TNT!”
