In addition to the 2019 NHL Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues receiving special custom WWE Championship belts this week, another major sports franchise was sent custom gold belts from the company on Friday.
The 2019 NBA Champion Toronto Raptors, who won their first NBA Championship in franchise history by winning game six 114-110 to go 4-2 over the Golden State Warriors on Thursday evening, received custom WWE title belts and a congratulatory tweet from the WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Creative and Live Events, Paul "Triple H" Levesque.

Led by the dominant performances of Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam, the Toronto Raptors captured their first NBA Championship in franchise history, defeating the Golden State Warriors, 114-110, in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday. To celebrate the historic win, WWE EVP Talent, Live Events & Creative Triple H congratulated the squad — which plays in Scotiabank Arena, home of this year’s SummerSlam — with a custom WWE Championship.

The Raptors join the likes of the NFL’s New England Patriots, the WNBA’s Seattle Storm and MLB’s Boston Red Sox in receiving custom WWE Titles. Past NBA teams to celebrate their championship with a WWE World Title include the 2004 Detroit Pistons, the 2011 Dallas Mavericks, the 2013 Miami Heat, the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers and the 2015, 2017 and 2018 Golden State Warriors.
