On Tuesday night’s edition of 205 Live on the WWE Network, the tournament to determine the next challenger to WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy at WrestleMania 35 continued.
Cedric Alexander defeated Akira Tozawa and Oney Lorcan beat Humberto Carrillo on this week’s show to advance to the semifinals of the tournament, which will take place on next Tuesday night’s episode.
Last week’s show saw Tony Nese and Drew Gulak win tournament matches against Kalisto and The Brian Kendrick to advance.
With that now known, next week’s episode of 205 Live will feature Tony Nese vs. Drew Gulak and Oney Lorcan vs. Cedric Alexander in semifinal matches. The winners will advance to square off against each other in the finals. The winner of the tournament will go on to challenge reigning WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy at WrestleMania 35.
WrestleMania 35 goes down from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday, April 7th, airing live via pay-per-view and streaming on the WWE Network.
