Before the Show
NXT from 2 days ago is recapped, the Cruiserweight Title match between Rush and Tazawa showing Rush getting the victory in the match-up.
The 205 Live opening sequence begins, starting tonight’s episode of 205 Live airing on the WWE Network from Birmingham, Alabama now at 10pm EST, celebrating the 3 year anniversary.
Aiden English and Tom Phillips are shown at the announcer’s table announcing Angel Garza and Jack Gallagher for later tonight. Also thanking fans for being dedicated to the brand for three years as they hit their 3yr Anniversary tonight.
Raul Mendoza vs. Ariya Daivari
Out first is Mendoza as his music sounds and he makes his way to the ring. Next out is Daivari, making his way to the ring. The bell rings and the match begins. Early lock up between both men, Daivari putting Mendoza into a headlock. Shoulder shove and an early cover by Daivari. Mendoza having fun at the expense of Daivari, who ends up on the outside of the ring, frustrated. Mendoza using his speed early on in this match-up.
Daivari attempting to collect himself on the outside of the ring. Mendoza with a Suicide Dive through the ropes to the outside into Daivari. Back and forth between both men, Mendoza knocked off the top rope to the outside of the ring by Daivari. Daivari thrown back into the ring. Mendoza with an Elbow Drop. Another two count. Daivari trying to regain control putting Mendoza into a Headlock. Mendoza thrown into the ropes by Daivari, followed by going to the top, nobody there as Mendoza avades the hit. Mendoza holding his ribs on the mat.
Mendoza with multiple blows and a Clothesline on Daivari. Mendoza with an elbow to the chin of Daivari. Mendoza with a Missle Dropkick for another two count pin, Daivari kicking out once again. Mendoza goes to the top rope, Daivari back to his feet. Daivari with a Power Slam on Mendoza and a two count pin attempt, Mendoza kicking out. Daivari putting his face into his hands, looking tired, but getting back to his feet.
Mendoza counters with a big kick and a creative slam on Daivari followed by another pin attempt, Daivari kicking out at two. Mendoza goes for a Kick, Daivari with a Super Kick counter. Mendoza with another Power Kick attempt, finding his mark. Daivari counters with a kick of his own, and a pin. Three count pin for the win.
Winner: Ariya Daivari
A video promo is shown, “I’m not here to make excuses” Jack Gallagher starts, “I’m going to win, or else I don’t know what I’m going to do”
A video promo reply follows, “Gallagher says he needs to win tonight. Who cares? I want to win tonight, and Angel Garza gets what he wants.” Garza replies, also telling Rush to quit avoiding him before going to break.
Danny Burch vs. Greg Williams
Danny Burch makes his way to the ring, where an awaiting Greg Williams is already in the ring. Burch feeling confident in this match up, dominating Williams in the beginning of this match-up. Burch catching the leg of Williams as he tries to jump over Burch, slamming Williams to the mat.
Williams trying to take control with a Flying Knee and a few good blows. Burch with a Headbutt to counter, knocking Williams into the corner, then a massive Clothesline.
Making it look easy, Burch puts Williams on the top rope for a Hangman’s DDT for the win.

Previous Backstage Video
Back at the announcer’s table, English and Phillips set up a video from 2 days ago, taking us back to Wednesday where Lio Rush is being interviewed backstage.
Rush asked how he’s feeling, Rush responds, “You know what, I’m feeling pretty good” Lio Rush starts, Kazawa appears and looks at Rush who extends his hand, Kazawa shaking it and encouraging him. Angel Garza shows up, Rush quickly angered has to be pulled away from attacking Garza.
Jack Gallagher vs. Angel Garza
Garza makes his way to the ring first, followed by The Gentleman’s Jack Gallagher. The bell rings and the match begins. Gallagher grabs Garza as he reaches into his pants, not giving him time to grab his oil. Gallagher holding on tight as Garza makes his way under the bottom rope, attempting to gather his barings. Garza gets back in the ring.
Gallagher goes for another lock up on the mat, Garza gets to the bottom rope once again, Gallagher being forced to let go, Garza crawling out of the ring again. Garza getting back in before the count out. Gallagher for a third time, grappling on the mat, refusing to let go of Garza until he grabs the rope again.
Garza on his knees puts up praying hands, then asks Gallagher to shake his hand. Gallagher moves in for the shake, Garza with a cheap shot. Gallagher showboating from the top turnbuckle, a kick to the face of Garza. Gallagher with a wrap up and pin attempt. Garza kicks out at two. Garza ties Gallagher up in the ropes and slams into him, knocking Gallagher to the mat.
Garza ripping off his pants, then going over and picking Gallagher up, pushing him into the turnbuckles, hitting a big chop on Gallagher. Then several hits to the back of the neck of Gallagher by Garza. Gallagher hanging upside down, a big strike to the ribs of Gallagher by Garza. Gallagher fighting to his feet, throwing blows on Garza. Garza with a kick to the midsection and another hook of the leg for a two count.
Garza lifting Gallagher to his feet by the hair, bouncing Gallagher off the top rope and a hit to the face for another two count. Gallagher crawling around the ring, Garza with a Camel Clutch, yelling “tap out! tap out!” Gallagher makes his way back to his feet only to be slammed to the mat once again by Garza. Garza gets Gallagher in another submission attempt, Gallagher back to his feet, throwing his shoulder into Garza.
Gallagher with a Double Kick from a laying position to the chest of Garza. Gallagher gets several shoulder shoves and a body slam on Garza. Gallagher building momentum with a Cross Body and a two count pin attempt. Both men now laying on the mat. Gallagher gets back to his feet throwing Garza face first into the turnbuckle. Gallagher puts Garza on the top turnbuckle. Both men exchange chops.
Garza with a shot to the ribs of Gallagher with a Sunset Flip. Gallagher with a Headbutt. Garza catches Gallagher mid-air with a hit to the midsection and another pin attempt. Gallagher kicks out. Multiple hits by Garza, another pin attempt, Gallagher kicks out. Garza sets up to end, Gallagher with Gentleman’s Headbutt, Garza counters with a Superkick. Both men laying flat on the mat as the referee begins to count. The referee makes it to six as both men start throwing blows from their knees. A big chop by Gallagher, both men back to their feet. Back and forth between the two.
Gallagher lets his emotions get the best of him, pinwheel of blows by Gallagher, attempting the Gentleman’s Dropkick, Garza counters. Garza caught talking trash, gets hung up in the ropes by Gallagher, followed by a Dropkick by Gallagher. Gallagher with a successful Gentleman’s Dropkick. A pin again, one, two… Garza throws his foot up on the bottom rope stopping the count.
Gallagher with a Guillotine locked in on Garza, breaking Garza down to one knee. Garza gets back to his feet slamming Gallagher spin first into the turnbuckle. Wing Clipper by Garza for the three count.
Winner: Angel Garza
After the Match
Angel Garza smiling and mocking Gallagher as he makes his way backwards up the ramp. Jack Gallagher begins throwing a tantrum on the outside of the ring, jumping on the announcer’s table. Gallagher throwing a open water bottle at the referee, followed by multiple chairs. Gallagher throwing the security guards into the baracade. Gallagher throws a security guard into the ring, attacking him with blows. Gallagher with a Headbutt on official Drake Maverick as Maverick attempts to calm Gallagher down, referees pulling the beaten security guard from the ring. Gallagher finally exits the ring, making his way up the ramp with an angered look on his face.
