Kenny Omega is no longer the AAA Mega Champion.
On Monday, an announcement was made by the promotion regarding Omega vacating his AAA Mega Championship due to his inability to appear at the upcoming Triplemania Regia event.
Featured below is the official statement that was released via the official Twitter feed of AAA’s Dorian Roldan:
“For injury and surgery issues, Kenny Omega, you will not be able to be present in Triplemania Regia. Therefore, from this moment on, the AAA Mega Championship remains vacant, having as the first challenger Hijo del Vikingo. More news soon.”
