AEW Announces Paul Wight Will Return To Ring At Full Gear; Street Fight Announced For PPV

There’s no more nonsense when it comes to Paul Wight.

The former WWE legend, famously known as Big Show, is set to make his return to in-ring action in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) at the company’s upcoming premium live event later this month.

During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega joined forces to defeat Matt Menard and Angelo Parker in a tag-team match.

Following the match, The Golden Jets, comprised of Jericho and Omega, found themselves face-to-face with The Don Callis Family. After some verbal sparring, both sides agreed to a Street Fight for AEW Full Gear 2023.

It was revealed that Powerhouse Hobbs, Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, and Sammy Guevara would represent The Don Callis Family in the Street Fight.

On the opposing side, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega each announced their partners for the bout. Omega will team up with his longtime friend Kota Ibushi, while Jericho disclosed that Paul Wight would be joining their team.

Upon this announcement, Paul Wight emerged, donning his signature ring gear and a determined expression. Fletcher from The Don Callis Family attempted to attack him but found himself on the receiving end of a knockout blow.

AEW subsequently confirmed the Street Fight between The Don Callis Family and the team of Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Paul Wight, and Kota Ibushi for AEW Full Gear 2023, scheduled for November 18 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA.
