— AEW commentator Excalibur is expected to return to the announce booth this Wednesday on Dynamite, reports f4wonline.com. His return, originally scheduled for August 12, has been pushed back twice already and he hasn’t been on TV since the end of July though no reason was given by the promotion for his absence. However, the belief is that it stems from a PWG angle dating back to 2017 that included a racial slur. Those close to him suggested that he took himself off TV to avoid being a distraction but his absence ended up putting more of a focus on the 2017 angle.
