Nine matches have been announced for next week’s episode of AEW DARK, with Hikaru Shida looking to extend her four-match win streak to five when she puts her number one contender status on-the-line against Dani Jordyn in the main event.
As seen on this past Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Shida scored her fourth straight victory in the AEW women’s division, coming out on top in a four-way match that included Dr. Britt Baker, Penelope Ford and Kris Statlander to secure her status as the number one contender and challenger for reigning AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose at the AEW Double Or Nothing 2 pay-per-view on May 23rd.
Matches featuring Darby Allin, Luther, Sammy Guevara, Rey Fenix, Private Party and others were also announced, rounding out a stacked nine-match card for the Tuesday, May 19th AEW Double Or Nothing 2 “go-home” edition of AEW DARK.
