At the AEW Dynamite television shoot at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas on Wednesday, December 18th, All Elite Wrestling taped next week’s special Christmas Eve edition of AEW Dark.
Featured below are exclusive spoiler results, videos and photos of the taping that featured Colt Cabana on commentary, multiple high-profile matches and a cool segment that saw AEW President Tony Khan deliver a Stunner.
The following show will premiere on the official AEW YouTube channel next Tuesday, December 24th at 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
AEW DARK RESULTS (12/24): CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS
* Former NWA National Champion and current competitor in the ongoing NWA Television Championship tournament Colt Cabana, who just recently finished up with Ring Of Honor at their ROH Final Battle, was the special guest announcer on commentary for this week’s show.
* Sammy Guevara def. Brandon Cutler in one-on-one action to kick off the show. “The Spanish God” of The Inner Circle picked up the victory after a few minutes in what was a pretty solid opening contest.
* Proud -N- Powerful def. The Hybrid 2, Private Party & The Best Friends in a 4-Way Tag-Team match. The duo of Santana and Ortiz of The Inner Circle kept their group in the “W” column for the second straight match on AEW Dark this week.
* “The Bastard” PAC brought out Michael Nakazawa and tried to call out Kenny Omega once again, however Omega did not show up.
* Joey Janela def. Shawn Spears in another singles contest. “The Bad Boy” picked up the victory over “The Chairman of AEW” in what was essentially a comedy match that saw Janela dressed up as Santa Claus for the show that airs on Christmas Eve on AEW’s YouTube channel.
* In a dark segment after the Janela-Spears match, baby faces that included referee Aubrey Edwards and even AEW President Tony Khan gave “The Chairman of AEW” a series of Stunners to close out the taping.
