AEW DARK RESULTS (12/3): CHICAGO, ILL.
* This week’s edition of AEW Dark emanates from the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The show was taped during the television shoot last Wednesday, November 27th for tonight’s first-run airing on the official AEW YouTube channel on Tuesday, December 3rd.
* Nyla Rose takes her spot at the announce desk as she joins the AEW Dark commentary team to call tonight’s show.
* Jimmy Havoc def. Brandon Cutler in the first of three matches scheduled for this week’s show in Chi-Town. This was a decent match, with Havoc picking up the “W” after a few minutes.
* Shawn Spears def. Sonny Kiss in another singles match-up. “The Chairman of AEW” was accompanied by WWE Hall Of Famer and his manager, Tully Blanchard, during this one. The crowd reactions for this one were pretty solid in terms of Spears drawing good old-school style heat with the help of the legendary Four Horsemen member.
* Proud ‘N’ Powerful def. Jurassic Express in the tag-team main event of the evening. This one saw The Inner Circle team of Santana and Ortiz earn the victory over the duo of Marko Stunt and Jungle Boy after a ten-plus minute match that delivered on all fronts.
* After the match, Jurassic Express gets beat up by Proud ‘N’ Powerful in a heel-style post-match beat-down. Fellow members of The Inner Circle, “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager join in the attack until finally The Luchasaurus comes out to make the save. The Young Bucks then join the brawl to even up the numbers game disadvantage for the baby faces. The Young Bucks and Jurrasic Express finally get the upper hand, with everyone hitting their finishers on Guevara to wrap the match / post-match segment up and send the fans home happy.
