AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 was the first pay-per-view for All Elite Wrestling of the COVID-19 Pandemic, however it might also be the second most purchased show in AEW history.
Preliminary buy figures for AEW’s recent PPV – Double or Nothing – appear to have risen from February’s Revolution show with f4wonline.com reporting that it is up approximately 10% and perhaps even as high as 15% when all sources are accounted for.
The estimated 100,000 – 110,000 buys from B/R Live (US) and FITE.TV (International) would make it the second highest in company history behind only Double or Nothing in 2019.
The figures for cable buys aren’t as clear but the trending would seem to indicate that when that component is taken into account, the show will end up in the 115,000 – 120,000 range which would put it virtually equal to last year’s Double or Nothing, perhaps even marginally exceed it.
The non-streaming PPV buys could take up to three months to finalize, which means even Revolution’s numbers are still pending.
