AEW Trios Championships
Swerve Strickland & The New Level (c) vs. Ricochet & The Demand

The show starts with a cold open message from Ricochet and The Demand, who address how they are different and better than The New Level and Swerve Strickland. They vow to take back the AEW Trios Champions they previously held.

We then move on to Prince Nana and the reigning title-holders, Swerve, Kofi and Austin Creed. They do a walk-and-talk response, with Nana vowing that they’ll take out The Demand. Creed and Kofi ask Swerve about his history with The Demand, and then The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

They ask Swerve if he had any friends before they arrived. His music hits. He smiles and walks off, telling them he’ll see them out there. With that, they begin to head to the ring for our opening match. The reigning champs make their respective ring walks and settle inside the squared circle.

Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone joke about New Level’s pyro going off every time they try and talk. Already in the ring are their opponents. The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with this opening trios title tilt.

Ricochet and Swerve Strickland start things off, trading offense in the opening moments. Strickland catches Ricochet with a chop before Kaun gets involved from the apron. Ricochet sends Swerve into the corner and tags in Kaun, but Strickland fights his way free and brings Austin Creed into the match.

Creed unloads on Kaun with strikes before connecting with a dropkick to the back. Kofi tags in and hits a senton for a near fall. Creed returns before tagging Strickland back in for some double-team offense on Kaun. Kofi comes back in and New Level continues isolating Kaun, connecting with a double dropkick.

Creed and Kofi look for another double-team maneuver, but Liona cuts them off and gets the tag. The Gates of Agony take control with a double-team powerbomb on Creed. Liona follows up with an attack to the throat as the action heads into a commercial break.

Back from the break, Creed sends Liona into the corner before being shoved to the outside, landing face-first on the floor. The Gates of Agony turn their attention to Kofi while Ricochet keeps Creed down on the outside. Kofi tries to fight back, but The Demand maintains control.

Ricochet tags in and The Demand connects with a triple-team combination, capped off by a 630 senton from Ricochet. He makes the cover, but Strickland breaks up the pin at the last second.

Ricochet turns his attention to Strickland, allowing Kofi to catch him with a backdrop. Kofi tags in Swerve as Kaun enters for The Demand. Swerve and Kaun battle on the apron until Strickland connects with a Swerve Stomp that sends Kaun to the floor.

Liona enters and takes a rolling Flatliner from Strickland and Creed. Kofi follows with a hook kick, Creed adds another kick and Swerve connects with a 450 splash. Strickland makes the cover, but Ricochet flies in with a 450 splash of his own to break up the pin.

Chaos breaks out as Creed takes Liona down, only for Kaun to lay out Creed. Ricochet and Kofi go at it next, with Kofi getting the better of the exchange. Liona enters again, but Swerve levels him with the House Call. The champions pile onto Liona for the cover and the three-count to retain.

Winners and STIL AEW World Trios Champions: Swerve Strickland & New Level

New Level & The Good, The Bad & The Ugly Ready For Battle

After the match, the champions turn their attention to AEW All Out, where they will defend the titles against Brodido and Hangman Adam Page. The challengers make their way out with microphones as Page congratulates the champions on retaining.

Page says the titles feel important in their hands, just as they did when he and his partners held them. Page says he is glad Austin Creed and Kofi are in AEW, but doesn’t think they understand what they’ve gotten themselves involved with.

He then turns his attention to Swerve, questioning why Strickland suddenly has partners now that he holds the Trios Championships. Creed responds, saying Swerve is teaming with the best tag team in professional wrestling and that together they are making the AEW World Trios Championships the most prestigious titles they can be.

Kofi insists Swerve is a changed man, saying Strickland has been nothing but cool with New Level since they arrived in AEW. Brody King points out that it has only been three weeks, while Page tells them to give it time. Swerve fires back, saying the challengers have some nerve questioning him, particularly Page.

Strickland asks whether Hangman will eventually abandon Brodido like he did his previous trios partners, adding that their history in Chicago two years ago proved Page is no better or different than Swerve. Brody interrupts, saying six of AEW’s best will collide for the World Trios Championships at All Out. Bandido vows to capture the gold.

Backstage, we hear from “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Will Ospreay and Francesco Akira. Ospreay welcomes Bailey into United Empire ahead of their tag team match later tonight. Akira speaks briefly in Italian before Ospreay stops him from swearing for the second consecutive week. Ospreay then asks Bailey if he has anything green to wear.

Backstage, Thekla sends a message to Willow Nightingale ahead of their match at All Out. She says there are two different kinds of “bitches” before asking Willow which one she thinks she is. Thekla says she will play nice tonight, but warns that things will get toxic on Saturday.

AEW Continental Championship Eliminator
Jon Moxley (c) vs. Dezmond Xavier

Back at ringside, Jon Moxley makes his entrance from outside the venue and comes through the crowd toward the ring. Dezmond Xavier makes his way out next as we get a look back at the Rascalz’ match against the Death Riders from two weeks ago on Collision.

Xavier enters the ring and the bell sounds to get our next match underway. The two lock up as Moxley takes Xavier to the mat. Xavier quickly gets back to his feet and catches the champion in a side headlock. Moxley brings him down for a near fall, but Xavier maintains the hold until Moxley finally shoves him away.

Moxley hits the ropes but gets caught with a headscissors that sends him into the corner. Xavier follows with strikes before Moxley turns things around with a chop. Moxley sends Xavier back into the corner, but Xavier fights his way out and forces the champion to regroup on the outside.

Both men get back to their feet as Xavier avoids Moxley in the corner, but the champion avoids a moonsault in response. Moxley connects with a dropkick before Xavier fires back with a kick and goes for the cover. Moxley counters the pin attempt directly into the Bulldog Choke.

Xavier fights toward the ropes, but Moxley drags him back to the center of the ring. Xavier eventually goes out in the hold, forcing the referee to call for the bell.

Winner: Jon Moxley

After The Match

Moxley celebrates his victory before we head backstage, where Darby Allin and Steven Borden are approached by Adam Copeland. Copeland says he asked Christian Cage to sit this conversation out to avoid things becoming hostile.

Copeland gives Borden credit for how well he has done this early in his career before addressing Borden and Allin’s pursuit of a future AEW World Tag Team Championship opportunity. Copeland tells Borden that challenging for the titles would mean reaching not only for the stars, but for legends.

He suggests he ask his father what that entails. He then tells Allin that facing the champions would be like climbing two Mount Everests. Darby cuts him off and, with all due respect, accepts the challenge. We head to another commercial break on that note.

Tag-Team Title Madness Ahead Of All Out

Back at ringside, The Young Bucks make their way to the ring before FTR follows them out, accompanied by Stokely Hathaway. AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage then make their entrance as all three teams meet in the ring ahead of their ladder match at All Out.

Stokely speaks first, saying FTR has nothing left to say and is only appearing to avoid being fined by Tony Khan. Matt Jackson takes exception to the comments before saying FTR having nothing to contribute is fitting for a team he compares to the Dudley Boyz heading into All Out.

FTR takes exception as Nick Jackson turns his attention to the opportunity awaiting all three teams on Saturday. Nick acknowledges that despite being called The Young Bucks, he and Matt aren’t getting any younger. Christian responds that FTR and The Young Bucks are too focused on potentially becoming the first four-time AEW World Tag Team Champions.

He says he and Copeland have only held the titles once and intends to keep it that way. Christian then takes a shot at the families of both challenger teams. Copeland cuts him off and turns the focus back to the match. He calls himself and Christian a generational tag team.

He points to their extensive experience and the number of major matches they have competed in throughout their careers. Matt responds by bringing up the champions’ age and Copeland’s history of injuries. FTR adds to the tension until things finally erupt into a brawl between all three teams.

Tables, ladders and chairs quickly come into play as the fight spills around ringside. The Bucks and FTR battle to the outside while security attempts to restore order. An enraged Copeland and Christian then turn their attention to one of the security guards, laying him out with a Conchairto.

Backstage

We head backstage, where Willow Nightingale responds to Thekla’s earlier comments. Willow points out that the last time they faced each other, she defeated Thekla for the title. She says Thekla has now had a taste of championship glory, and that could make her dangerous when they meet at All Out on Saturday.

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Jake Doyle

Back at ringside, Tommaso Ciampa makes his entrance for our next match. Ciampa will challenge Kazuchika Okada for the AEW International Championship at All Out, but tonight he faces Jake Doyle, who makes his way to the ring accompanied by Don Callis.

Doyle sends Ciampa back to the outside and looks for a powerbomb, but Ciampa fights his way free. Tommaso gets back into the ring and catches Doyle with a DDT on the apron before the fight moves toward the barricade. Ciampa charges with a knee strike that drives Doyle into the barricade.

He then slides into the ring to break the referee’s count. Tommaso charges again, but this time Doyle catches him and drives him onto the barricade with a chokeslam as we head to a commercial break as the action in this one-on-one showdown continues.

Back from the break, Ciampa and Doyle battle on the top turnbuckle until Ciampa brings Doyle down with a Psycho Driller. Tommaso makes the cover, but Doyle kicks out at two. Doyle remains down as Ciampa mocks Okada’s signature pose, complete with the camera zoom, giving Doyle enough time to get back to his feet.

Ciampa catches him with a series of strikes to send him back down, but Doyle stops his momentum by stepping on his foot. Doyle hoists Ciampa up, but Tommaso escapes. Doyle hits the ropes and runs into a dropkick from Ciampa. Doyle recovers and connects with a powerbomb for a two count.

Ciampa rolls to the outside and Doyle follows, sending him into the barricade before driving his head into the LED board. Doyle looks for another powerbomb, but instead drives Ciampa face-first onto the floor. Doyle sends Ciampa back into the ring, where Tommaso catches him with a running knee and another for the win.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa

Tommaso Ciampa Addresses Kazuchika Okada

Ciampa takes a microphone after the match and turns his attention to Kazuchika Okada. He says the two spent years on different “islands,” leaving fans to wonder what would happen if they ever faced each other. Now that they are finally in the same place, Ciampa says that question no longer needs to be asked.

Ciampa says they don’t even have to wait until All Out since Jake Doyle couldn’t get the job done. Okada makes his way onto the stage and tells Ciampa he has some bad news: he won’t be getting the Rainmaker tonight. Okada says Ciampa will get what he wants at All Out.

Okada says he will get what he wants when he beats Ciampa and proves the “Psycho Killer” isn’t on the same level as the Rainmaker. Ciampa responds by promising to bring out a side of the Psycho Killer that nobody has seen before when they meet at All Out. We head to a commercial break.

Persephone gets a two count before sending Hyan into the corner, but Hyan responds with a boot and takes the champion to the mat. Hyan connects with a fallaway slam for a near fall. Persephone responds with a pin attempt of her own, which Hyan counters into another near fall.

Persephone unloads with strikes, but Hyan turns things around and nearly catches the champion for the victory. Persephone eventually catches Hyan in a cradle, using the bottom rope for leverage to secure the three-count and retain her title. Britt Baker joins her to celebrate as we head to a break.

Bailey and Kidd start things off, with Gabe quickly bringing Speedball to the mat. Bailey gets back to his feet and the two exchange strikes until Kidd takes him down again, but Bailey avoids a senton attempt. Kidd sends Bailey out of the ring as Ospreay tries to intervene, leading to the Death Riders going after both opponents.

Ospreay fights back with a forearm off the barricade on Claudio while Bailey drops Kidd with a missile dropkick back inside the ring. Ospreay tags in and the pair connects with some double-team offense, capped off with a Sky Twister Press for a two count.

Ospreay sends Kidd into the corner, but Gabe bites his hand to escape. Claudio tags in and the Death Riders double-team the AEW World Champion. Bailey enters the fray and helps send both Death Riders to the outside, where he and Ospreay follow with dives.

Ospreay brings Claudio back into the ring and tags Bailey in as the pair looks for a tandem suplex, only for Castagnoli to overpower both men and send them crashing to the mat. Claudio tags Kidd back in as we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Claudio remains in control and takes Bailey down for a two count. Kidd tags in and continues working over Speedball until Bailey catches him with an enzuigiri. Ospreay reaches for the tag, but Claudio pulls him off the apron.

Bailey responds with a Pele kick that sends Castagnoli to the floor, but when Speedball returns to the ring, Kidd cuts him off and bites his foot. Bailey manages to fight back and sends Kidd to the canvas before finally making the tag to Ospreay.

Claudio tags in as well and is sent toward the ropes by the AEW World Champion. Castagnoli blocks a suplex, allowing Kidd to tag in, but Ospreay catches Gabe with a suplex instead. Claudio gets involved again, only to be dropped with a suplex from Ospreay.

A twisting kick gets Ospreay a two count before Kidd avoids the Hidden Blade. Ospreay connects with a series of chops before locking Kidd in Deathground. Claudio breaks up the hold, but Bailey intercepts him as Ospreay and Speedball trap both Death Riders in cross armbars.

Claudio powers Bailey up and drops him onto Ospreay, allowing Kidd to escape his hold. Kidd fires up as Claudio tags back in, and Castagnoli takes Ospreay down for a two count as Bailey returns to the action. Chaos breaks out between all four men before Ospreay counters Claudio’s Giant Swing into a headscissors. Ospreay with Styles Clash for the win.

Winners: Will Ospreay & “Speedball” Mike Bailey

After The Match

Ospreay and Bailey celebrate the victory before the AEW World Champion takes a microphone and addresses the crowd. Ospreay thanks the fans for their support and says he is honored to represent them as World Champion. Ospreay then turns his attention to Jon Moxley.

He notes that Mox has been part of AEW throughout the company’s history. He thanks Moxley for his guidance, for being the ace and for breaking him, saying those experiences helped make Ospreay the man he is today. Ospreay says Moxley’s history speaks for itself.

He says but the biggest lesson he learned from him is that the World Championship is what it’s all about. Ospreay says he has risked his life for the title, not simply because of the leather and gold, but because of what it represents. The champion says he is here to lead the charge for the next generation.

This time, Moxley has been dropped into the ocean with a great white shark because Mox is the challenger and Ospreay is the AEW World Champion. Moxley makes his way into the ring with a microphone and asks Ospreay whether, standing across from him right now, he truly feels like the champion.

Before Ospreay can answer, Gabe Kidd slides into the ring and attempts to attack him from behind. Ospreay sees it coming and levels Kidd before turning back toward Moxley. Ospreay tells Mox that he absolutely feels like the champion. Moxley exits the ring while Ospreay stands over Kidd. That wraps up Dynamite. Now onto Collision!

Backstage

The Collision portion of the broadcast begins with Ospreay leaving the ring and meeting Bailey on the stage, where the two celebrate their victory. We then head backstage to hear from Jack Perry, who addresses HOOK’s demand that Perry must first face Katsuyori Shibata before getting an opportunity against Samoa Joe.

Perry and Shibata will square off at the All Out Tailgate Brawl this Saturday, with Perry smiling at the prospect of having to survive Shibata before he can get his hands on Joe.

Renee Paquette Interviews The Brawling Birds & Divine Dominion

Back at ringside, Renee Paquette hosts a face-to-face between The Brawling Birds and Divine Dominion ahead of their title match at All Out. Both teams are on the stage, where a table has been set up with tea and crumpets. Divine Dominion reveals the setup is a gift for the champions.

This allows them to feel special before Dominion takes the titles back at All Out. The Brawling Birds accept the gesture and say may the best team win on Saturday, but the situation quickly turns physical. Divine Dominion gets the better of the exchange, laying out the champions on the stage and standing tall.

Kevin Knight & Kyle Fletcher vs. The Outrunners

We then get footage from after last week’s Dynamite, where Roderick Strong reflects on The Conglomeration failing to capture the AEW World Trios Championships. Strong says he has a lot on his mind and can’t take things anymore before walking away.

After a look at what’s still to come during the final hour of the special, we head back to ringside. Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher make their entrances, followed by The Outrunners for our first match of the Collision lineup. Turbo Floyd and Fletcher start things off.

Floyd gets the early advantage before Fletcher sends him into the ropes and connects with a running boot. Kyle follows with a forearm before tagging in Knight, leading to some double-team offense and a two count from the Jet. Knight keeps Floyd grounded with a side headlock.

Turbo fights back to his feet and tags in Truth Magnum. The Outrunners connect with some double-team offense to take Knight down. The Outrunners pose, but Fletcher interrupts, allowing Knight to go back on the attack before tagging Kyle into the match. Knight and Fletcher look for another double-team maneuver.

Knight is sent to the outside along with Magnum. Fletcher then drops Floyd inside the ring, putting his team firmly in control as we head to a commercial break. When we return, we see the action in this opening Collision tag-team tilt still in progress.

Back from the break, Fletcher and Knight connect with some double-team offense on Magnum before Knight tags in and picks up a near fall. Knight prevents Truth from reaching Floyd for the tag, but ends up pulling him toward Fletcher, who takes a right hand from Magnum.

Floyd goes after Knight before Magnum finally makes the tag, allowing The Outrunners to take control. They deliver body slams to both opponents before sending Knight and Fletcher crashing into each other. The Outrunners follow with a double elbow drop, but Knight breaks up the pin.

Fletcher responds with a half-and-half suplex on Floyd before tagging Knight back in. Kyle drops Turbo with a sheer-drop brainbuster, setting up Knight to connect with the UFO Splash for the three-count.

Winners via pinfall: Kevin Knight & Kyle Fletcher

After The Match

Renee Paquette enters the ring and asks whether the pair believes this momentum will carry them to victory at All Out. Fletcher takes over the interview and has the crowd say his full name before turning his attention to Darby Allin and Steven Borden.

Fletcher says Allin and Borden will get burned when they face The Don Callis Family at All Out. He admits to Callis that he didn’t like Knight at first, but says the two are now working together like a well-oiled machine — or, more appropriately, like a family.

Fletcher predicts an easy victory on Saturday and says they will become the new number-one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Darby’s music hits as RPG Vice waits on the stage for Allin and Borden, but the two instead appear in the rafters.

Darby says they aren’t coming down to the stage just to be jumped by the entire Don Callis Family. Allin reminds Knight what happened the last time they faced each other, but Knight responds that they’ll be playing by his rules at All Out. Knight dismisses Borden as a rookie.

This prompts Darby to ask how it will feel to lose to someone competing in only his third match. Darby tells them not to call it an upset when it happens. Darby’s music hits again as commentary runs down the All Out card, including the matches scheduled for the Tailgate Brawl and the pay-per-view itself.

Chris Jericho & Nick Wayne Agree To Match At Grand Slam Paris

Back at ringside, Chris Jericho makes his entrance as we look back at his victory over Nick Wayne last week on Dynamite and Wayne’s post-match attack. Jericho enters the ring and thanks the Indianapolis crowd before addressing what happened last week.

He says he defeated Wayne, only to be attacked afterward. While Jericho didn’t appreciate the attack, he gives Wayne credit for recognizing an opening and taking advantage of it. Jericho then invites Wayne to come out and stand toe-to-toe with him.

Wayne’s music hits and he makes his way to ringside, stopping on the apron with a microphone. Jericho asks whether Wayne is afraid to enter the ring, but Nick responds that he’s simply being smart before eventually stepping inside.

Wayne addresses his issues with Jericho before Jericho points out some similarities between their careers. He notes that both started wrestling as teenagers and had notable runs in Japan, adding that he was once as egotistical as he believes Wayne is now.

Jericho brings up Nick Bockwinkel and recalls advice he received early in his career about working too fast and needing to slow down. Jericho says it took time for him to accept the criticism because of his attitude at the time.

Wayne takes exception to the comparison and talks about how much he has grown as a wrestler. Jericho eventually cuts him off and accepts Wayne’s challenge for a match at Grand Slam Paris. Jericho’s music hits as we head to a commercial break.

Thunder Rosa Revealed As Hyan’s New Tag Team Partner

Backstage, Hyan addresses her loss to Persephone earlier in the night before introducing her new tag team partner, Thunder Rosa. Rosa joins Hyan and turns her attention to Pittsburgh, where the pair will face Britt Baker and Persephone in Baker’s hometown.

Aminata sets Blue up for Chocolate Kisses, but Julia pulls Skye out of harm’s way. That leads to a confrontation between Julia and Mina at ringside before Blue grabs Aminata and sends her into the ring steps. Aminata starts to fight back, but Blue catches her with a suplex from the steps to the floor as we head to a commercial break.

Skye remains in control with a choke as we return from the break, but Aminata fights her way free. The Queen sends Blue into the corner before connecting with a double stomp for a near fall. Aminata brings Skye back to her feet, only for Blue to catch her with a cradle for two.

Skye connects with a kick, but Aminata counters a DDT attempt into a neckbreaker for another near fall. Both women exchange offense before trading pin attempts. Skye connects with a big kick and makes the cover, but Aminata kicks out at two.

Both women get back to their feet as Skye slaps Aminata across the face. The Queen responds with Off With Her Head and makes the cover for the three-count and the victory.

Winner: Queen Aminata

Willow Nightingale Confronts The Triangle Of Madness

There is no time for Aminata to celebrate as Julia Hart attacks her after the bell. Mina Shirakawa gets involved, helping Aminata clear the Sisters of Sin from the ring. Thekla then comes out looking for revenge, but Willow Nightingale quickly joins the fight.

Willow helps run the Triangle of Madness out of the ring as Mercedes Moné stands on the announce desk and reminds both potential challengers who currently holds the AEW Women’s World Championship. Commentary then turns its attention to tonight’s Collision main event between PAC and Ace Austin.

It’s main event time (part two)!

The two exchange holds until PAC takes Austin down with a hip toss into an abdominal stretch. Austin escapes before PAC hits the ropes and uses his speed to avoid a kick. Ace responds with a drop toe hold and takes control of the match.

PAC eventually rolls to the outside for a breather, but Austin catches him with a kick and sends him hard to the floor. Ace brings PAC back into the ring and hoists him onto his shoulders, performing a series of squats before dropping PAC with a Death Valley Driver.

Winner via pinfall: PAC

All-Out Brawl Erupts After The Main Event

After the match, PAC locks Austin in the Brutalizer until Jay White runs out to make the save. The Dogs and Death Riders quickly get involved, leading to a brawl between the two sides ahead of the Tailgate Brawl at All Out. Andrade El Idolo’s music eventually hits.

This sends PAC out of the ring, where Andrade catches him with a clothesline. Andrade and PAC fight their way into the crowd while the brawl continues around ringside. The fighting continues as Collision, and the three-hour night as a whole, wraps up. Thanks for joining us!
