The location for this year’s AEW Full Gear pay-per-view appears to be set.
All Elite Wrestling will be heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota for their Full Gear 2021 PPV event.
Fightful Select is reporting that while the venue is not yet clear, the location for this year’s AEW Full Gear 2021 show will indeed be Minneapolis, MN.
Originally, AEW planned to hold their Full Gear 2021 show on Saturday, November 6 in St. Louis, however the date was changed to Saturday, November 13 due to UFC 268 being scheduled on the 11/6 date.
AEW President Tony Khan noted during the All Out 2021 post-show media scrum that St. Louis would no longer be the location for the Full Gear 2021 show.
It’s also worth noting that AEW talents were scheduled to be part of The Big Event convention in New York on November 13 before the Full Gear 2021 show was moved to that date. The word making the rounds is that AEW is going “above and beyond” to make things right with the promoters involved at the convention, and many of the AEW talents will now be appearing at The Big Event convention on Sunday, November 14.
