AEW Injuries Continue To Pile Up As Another Star Sidelined Once Again

Just months after making his return to AEW following a lengthy injury hiatus, Mark Davis is reportedly sidelined once again.

According to Fightful Select, the 34-year-old sustained an injury during his March 26th Dynamite match against Powerhouse Hobbs, which caused the match to end earlier than planned.

While details remain scarce, the report indicates that Davis is expected to be out for a period of four to eight weeks. The nature of the injury and how it occurred have not been disclosed.

Davis had previously missed an entire year of action, from October 2023 to November 2024, due to a broken wrist suffered during a tag team match at WrestleDream. Upon his return, he was involved in a storyline with Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, and the Don Callis Family. Eventually, Davis was forced to turn on Ospreay and join the Callis Family after a contract clause manipulated by Callis came into play.

This injury comes amid a series of setbacks for AEW talent, with Jay White also pulled from the Owen Hart Foundation tournament due to a reported broken hand, and Orange Cassidy sidelined with a reported pectoral injury.
