– The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Chris Jericho’s new contract with AEW actually runs through early 2026 (instead of late 2025 as noted in the press release). Jericho’s old deal was a three-year contract expiring in January 2024 with a two-year option that was around $3 million annually.

– The new contract is strongly believed to be worth more than that and goes into effect January 2023, effectively replacing the last year of Jericho’s old agreement. The Observer called the new contract the “biggest contract of his life.”
