During last night’s episode of Dynamite, which followed AEW All Out, new championship titles were officially introduced. In a backstage segment, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan announced the long-anticipated Women’s Tag Team Championships. He also revealed that the promotion will soon crown its inaugural Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Renee Paquette then presented the championship titles to the live audience at ringside, eliciting a strong reaction from the crowd. The design of the titles closely resembles that of the Men’s AEW World Tag Team Championships, which were introduced after the company’s launch in 2019.
There is currently no information on when the inaugural champions will be crowned, but updates will be provided as they become available.
