Pentagon Jr. Talks To Sports Illustrated

AEW News: Wrestler Removed From Online Roster; Officially Gone From Company & Possibly Headed To WWE

— After months of speculation and reports about his contractual status, Penta El Zero Miedo is officially gone from AEW. As of earlier today, the promotion has removed Penta’s name and image from their official roster page on the AEW website confirming reports that he is done with the promotion.

— As per previous reports, it is believed that Penta’s deal with AEW expired on December 1 and at that time, he officially became a free agent. In the past, WWE had shown interest in bringing him in (as well as his brother Rey Fenix to form the Lucha Bros), it is unclear if there is still interest in him in the present time given that Fenix’s deal with AEW is not going to expire until well in 2025. It was assumed that both the Lucha Bros and WWE were mainly interested in bringing the brothers in as a package deal.
