Tony Khan discusses the potential for AEW to launch its own dedicated app as a hub for all things All Elite Wrestling.
During the media scrum after AEW Dynasty, Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of AEW creating an app similar to ROH’s HonorClub, TNA’s TNA+, and the WWE Network’s previous model.
Khan responded that developing such a project has become a priority for AEW, especially as the company’s media rights agreement has evolved. He emphasized that AEW now has more flexibility with its content than it did just a few months ago.
“That’s definitely a priority for us. Our media rights agreement has grown, evolved, and changed. There are now things we can do that, contractually, I didn’t have the ability to do a few months ago. I’m very excited about that. We’re adding a lot of new things in AEW for 2025, including a lot of firsts. It’s something we’re actively working on and considering. The possibilities for an app are much greater now than they were before,” Khan said.
Khan also promoted AEW’s upcoming event at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, which is the old ECW home.
