— Former WWE star John Morrison made his return to AEW last night during the Rampage tapings. As described below, he made an appearance in angle with The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn.
Harley Cameron came out cutting a promo, saying she was here to help. She wanted them to hear her out. She wanted to be with The Acclaimed. She was going to write them a hit song. She sang badly so Billy Gunn said “Hell No.” He said that if she hasn’t seen what they do, they have the greatest rapper in the world. He said that was their thing. Cameron got a lot of heat from the crowd every time she tried to speak. She had two masked men join her in the ring and rapped, which was a lot of better than her singing. She told Anthony Bowens he was obviously into her. He said he was gay and asked her if she was kicked in the head too many times by a kangaroo as a kid. The crowd popped and chanted “He’s gay.” QT Marshall came out and distracted them, which led to John Hennigan/Morrison attacking them and laying out The Acclaimed.
— PWInsider.com reports that Morrison, who has made a few appearances for AEW, will be aligned with QT Marshall’s group, and will be going by the name Johnny Television or Johnny TV and will be regularly on TV moving forward.
