Could NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal be gearing up for a super showdown against AEW star “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer?
AEW star and former IWGP United States champion Lance Archer was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio, where “The Murderhawk Monster” called out Shaquille O’Neal.
Archer called out the basketball legend and pop culture mega-star after catching wind of Shaq recently stating that he would love to have a pro wrestling match-up.
As noted, Shaq recently expressed his interest in having a potential wrestling match with top company-man “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes in AEW after inking his own new contract with the TNT cable network — the official cable television home of All Elite Wrestling.
The protege of pro wrestling legend and WWE Hall Of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts reminded Shaq that Cody is currently out of action, but noted that he is more than willing to step up to the Shaq-Diesel “and take his face off his head.”
“I mean, Cody IS the face of AEW. So, he [Shaq] wants to be in that picture with the face of AEW. That IS Cody, and who knows what Cody’s condition is right now? But that’s where Shaq thinks he wants to go…And it’s cool. [Go on] look in a different direction Shaq. Don’t pay attention to the biggest baddest S.O.B. on the card. Because if you’re not paying attention? I’m gonna kick you in the back of the knee and take your face off your head.”
Archer was recently announced as one of the Casino Battle Royal entrants at the upcoming AEW ALL OUT pay per view.
