All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has announced an AEW Women’s Championship matches for the first two episodes of AEW Dynamite of the New Year.
AEW has announced that due to prior commitments, number-one contender Kris Statlander will no longer be challenging women’s champion Riho on this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite from Jacksonville. Instead, Riho will defend the gold in a fatal-four way against Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, and Hikaru Shida.

Statlander will then face the winner on the following Dynamite from Southaven.
