This past Friday’s Double or Nothing go-home episode of AEW Rampage saw The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn face La Faccion Ingobernable’s RUSH, Dralistico and “Perro Peligroso” Preston Vance in a Trios Match and come out of the match with a huge win. After the match, The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass cut a promo, saying they have been running through the Trios division and since they are in Vegas, they should do some gambling. The Acclaimed then teased they were coming for the House of Black and their AEW World Trios Championships.
All Elite Wrestling has since confirmed that AEW World Trios Champions House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews) will defend their AEW World Trios Championships at tonight’s Double or Nothing PPV in an Open House Challenge Match to any three who dare challenge them, but AEW has yet to announce who those three will be despite The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass making their intentions clear.
You can check out AEW’s announcement below:
Who will step up to challenge the #AEW World Trios Champions #HouseOfBlack in an Open House Match, for the title TOMORROW at #AEWDoN LIVE on PPV at 8pm ET/5pm PT?
