— Last week, it was announced that Road Dogg Brian James was transitioned into a new role with WWE as co-lead writer for WWE Friday Night Smackdown, a position that he previously held during the Vince McMahon regime. James’ appointment to lead writer was met with online criticism and former champion AJ Styles took to to X to not only defend him but level an indirect shot at former CEO McMahon without specifically naming him:
