A segment was announced for this week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown during the WWE Backlash 2020 pay-per-view on Sunday night.
During a backstage interview segment with Kayla Braxton at the WWE Backlash 2020 PPV, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles revealed his intentions to hold a special WWE Intercontinental Championship Victory Celebration on this week’s WWE On FOX blue-brand program.
Styles, who defeated Daniel Bryan in the finals of the WWE Intercontinental Championship Tournament on last week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown show, would go on to invite Bryan to appear at the aforementioned “Victory Celebration.”
WWE released the following tweet on their official WWE Universe Twitter feed to promote the segment on this week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown show.
