AJ Styles felt like he was looking into the mirror while watching the conclusion of the NJPW Sakura Genesis event in Tokyo, Japan on Sunday morning.

“The Phenomenal One” took to social media this morning to share his reaction to Will Ospreay defeating Kota Ibushi to capture the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of the special event, which streamed live via the NJPW World digital subscription platform.

“It was like I was looking into the mirror,” said the WWE Superstar and fellow former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. “Congratulations to the New IWGP Champion.”
