Andrade has finally made his first public comments following the breaking news that surfaced after Sunday night’s WWE Fastlane 2021 pay-per-view confirming his release from WWE.
The pro wrestling veteran and real-life boyfriend of Charlotte Flair took to social media on Monday morning to comment on the situation now that the news is official and has gone public.
“I want to thank Triple H, Paul Heyman and William Regal for all these years and great support that they gave me all these years,” wrote Andrade via his official Twitter page. “Also to the fans who were always supporting me, a big hug to all the talent and workers who always behaved kindly to me.”
In an additional tweet, Andrade wrote in English, “Happy live, happy wife!!!” In Spanish, he added, “Y no estoy triste!! Súper feliz,” which in English translates as, “And I’m not sad!! Super happy.”
