Angel Garza, one-half of the Los Lotharios tag-team alongside his partner and cousin Humberto Carrillo, recently appeared as a guest on the Table Talk podcast for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling.
During the appearance on the popular pro wrestling program, the WWE Superstar spoke about teaming with his cousin, working with Demi Burnett, his Monday Night Raw run in WWE during 2020 and more.
Featured below are some of the highlights.
On teaming with his cousin being a welcome change from working as his opponent on a regular basis last year: “Sometimes when you wrestle a partner, a family member, or a very, very close friend, it’s tougher than when you wrestle somebody that you don’t know because you have that confidence and you know that you can punch him and it’s gonna be for fun. The toughest matches that I have had [are] versus family members or very close friends.”
On his program last year with The Bachelorette’s Demi Burnett: “For me, it was fun. It was just following instructions and I don’t need to worry about anything, but I think the producers were the ones who were worried about that. For me, if she messed it up, I don’t care. If I mess it up, obviously I care. But I was just relaxed, chilling out, doing my thing.”
On fond memories of his Monday Night Raw run last year, as he appeared regularly on shows at the WWE Performance Center and the WWE ThunderDome: “Those were good days, for me especially. I worked 52 weeks in a row. It was the whole year during the pandemic. So for my character and for me personally, those days were incredible.”
