— WWE Legend The Rock will be appearing on tonight’s episode of Smackdown and while it is already pretty much confirmed that he will be involved in announcing that next year’s WrestleMania will be coming to New Orleans, he also hinted that he will be confronting someone and now we know who that is.
— The WrestleVotes X account is reporting that there will be a “direct interaction” between Rock and WWE Champion Cody Rhodes tonight. While not giving any more context around that interaction, it should be noted that WWE has listed a tag team match internally to main event tonight’s show instead of the originally scheduled six-man tag team match in which Cody was supposed to be a part of. As such, one strong rumor is that the interaction between Rock and Rhodes will lead into an injury angle or something similar which will explain why the match will be changed with Rhodes out of it.
