Last year so a multiple WWE superstars with expiring contracts with some deciding to test free agency though most of the top stars ended up re-signing with WWE for lucrative new deals. While 2025 isn’t expected to be as busy of a year when it comes to contracts coming due, there is at least one star who is in the final year of his deal and that man is Karrion Kross.
Fightfulselect.com reports that Kross’ contract is set to expire over the summer though they say it’s unclear if negotiations between WWE and the wrestler are underway. However, what is known is that the company is “ecstatic” with Kross’ ability to “get him over” using social media as well as the angles he’s been involved with on WWE Raw.
Kross and his wife Scarlett have gone through interesting tenures with WWE, signing back in 2020 before receiving a massive push on NXT. After being promoted to the main roster, Kross was separated from Scarlett, repackaged and basically buried before the couple were both released in November 2021. However, when Vince McMahon initially retired, the duo was immediately rehired by Triple H and have been with the company since. While in between WWE stints, Kross was offered a one-match deal with AEW which he declined but did make appearances for both NJPW and MLW.
