So, where has Austin Theory been lately?
Well, apparently he is serving a suspension handed down to him by World Wrestling Entertainment.
According to Dave Meltzer, the longtime editor and founder of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter at F4WOnline.com, Theory was given an “unannounced suspension” by the company.
The wrestling journalist revealed the news when responding to a fan on social media who asked about Theory’s whereabouts as it relates to his WWE television absence, which was assumed to be COVID-19 related.
Theory last appeared on WWE programming in late-June when he teamed with Murphy for a victory over Ricochet and Cedric Alexander in a tag-team contest on WWE Main Event.
His last RAW appearance came on the June 8th episode, where he teamed with Murphy in a losing effort against Aleister Black and Humberto Carrillo.
We will keep you posted here at eWrestling.com as updates continue to surface regarding the WWE status of Austin Theory.
