Backstage AEW News Update On Awkward Angle On Last Week’s Episode Of Dynamite

On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, an awkward scene unfolded during a post-match angle that left the internet community talking.

Following a match where Kris Statlander took on Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford got involved and assisted Bayne in beating down on Statlander. This brought out Thunder Rosa, who came for the save with a chair in hand. However, what happened next left many dumbfounded as Rosa never used the chair while Bayne and Ford didn’t back down either so the three of them sorta just stood around.

On f4wonline.com, Bryan Alvarez alluded to a lack of production meetings as the cause of the incident stating that AEW President Tony Khan “refuses to do production mettings.” He added that no one knew what happened other than everyone being on a different page leading to Rosa looking like an “absolute idiot.”

Another theory that began floating around was that Bayne and Ford “went into business for themselves” and didn’t bail on Rosa and her chair but fightfulselect.com reports that wasn’t the case at all. According to their report, it was a miscommunication issue between a coach or producer and the wrestlers with no one instructing the talent where to position themselves during the angle. AEW sources revealed that the situation was discussed backstage following the segment and there were no issue between any of the three women having to work with each other.
