According to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, the trios match featuring Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express against Josh Alexander and the Young Bucks at this month’s AEW Full Gear event might lead to a highly anticipated reunion that fans have been waiting for. Meltzer also pointed out that the Young Bucks’ apparent reluctance toward Don Callis’ announcement regarding the match and their alliance could be a deliberate storytelling tactic.
Meltzer noted that while Matt and Nick Jackson haven’t openly expressed enthusiasm about facing Omega at the upcoming pay-per-view event, this tension might be hinting at a dramatic reunion between Omega and the Bucks. Conversely, Bryan Alvarez suggested that the Bucks’ hesitation could indicate a lack of confidence.
Despite the match not having a strong backstory heading into Full Gear, Meltzer believes it could still feature show-stealing moments from both the Young Bucks and Omega, even if they don’t reunite immediately.
