Backstage News on Brock Lesnar Missing Raw & His WWE Future

— According to a report at PWInsider.com, Brock Lesnar is pretty much done with WWE for the forseeable future as he now concentrates on UFC and a potential fight against Daniel Cormier next year. When Lesnar finishes up with UFC/MMA, the door is said to be open for a return and WWE is said to be interested in having him back in some capacity.

— There were some reports online that WWE had scheduled Lesnar and Paul Heyman for a segment during Monday’s Raw and that when Lesnar didn’t show up, the writers threw in the Triple H promo as a replacement. This report is false as Lesnar was reportedly never even scheduled for Raw from the very beginning (despite WWE advertising him for it) and instead took a private charter straight out of New York following SummerSlam. If WWE needed to further anything with Lesnar, Heyman was backstage and easily could have been used for an in-ring interview.

— The only change in the Raw script during the day was the change of a potential Drew McIntyre vs. Dean Ambrose match to Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler. Everything – including the Triple H interview – remained in place throughout the afternoon.
