Last night’s Friday Night Smackdown was described as a “mess” backstage as the show was still being written just a couple of hours before it went on air, according to Dave Meltzer of f4wonline.com.
Vince McMahon didn’t arrive on set until 1230 PM and nobody knew anything about the episode until he arrived, however, that is reportedly pretty normal for all WWE shows this year.
To add further credence to this report, WWE failed to announce any matches for Smackdown until about 10 minutes before it went on air and then suddenly advertised three matches.
