Backstage News On Moose’s Contract With IMPACT Wrestling Expiring Soon

According to a report from Fightful Select, the contract of top IMPACT Wrestling Star Moose is set to expire this coming summer. There have been some rumors and speculations that Moose has already signed a new contract with IMPACT for an additional two years as IMPACT EVP Don Callis mentioned during Hard To Kill that Moose was signed to a two-year deal, which was done to try and get Moose to take it easy on AEW World Champion Kenny Omega.

In 2019, Moose was announced to signing a two-year contract, which led people to believe that Callis’ announcement at Hard To Kill was a reference to Moose re-signing for an additional two years. That is definitely not the case as Moose’s contract, which he signed in 2019, is set to expire this summer.

Aside from Moose, there reportedly are a number of other IMPACT talents that will see their contracts with the company expire during the first half of this year. There is no word yet on if Moose will re-sign with the company, but updates will be provided once it has been made available. Moose originally signed with TNA/IMPACT Wrestling back in 2016 and is a two-time IMPACT Wrestling Grand Champion.
