WWE is coming correct with RAW on Monday night for a number of reasons.
Not only will WWE be running their first live episode of RAW from the world-famous Madison Square Garden arena in New York City in a decade, but it also mark the first show going head-to-head against this season of the NFL.
Traditionally, the start of the NFL season with their games on Monday nights going head-to-head with RAW, has taken a large chunk of the viewership from WWE.
Monday’s show also serves as the WWE Clash Of Champions 2019 pay-per-view “go-home show,” with WWE also attempting to lure in casual or non-regular visitors by bringing back WWE Hall Of Famer “Stone Cold Steve Austin.”
As noted, WWE has already announced the following matches for RAW this week:
* Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch
* Rey Mysterio vs. Gran Metalik
* WWE U.S. Champion A.J. Styles vs. Cedric Alexander (Non-Title Match)
