Backstage News On Bryan Danielson’s Early Return From Injury

All Elite Wrestling Star “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson made his return to the company at last Saturday night’s All Out go-home episode of AEW Collision from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, where it was revealed that he will be “Absolute” Ricky Starks’ opponent for the Strap Match at All Out last night instead of Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. The American Dragon ended up winning the No DQ Strap Match against Ricky Starks.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that The American Dragon returned to the company from injury 17 days earlier than expected as he was originally scheduled to return next month, while a mid-September return would have been a touch-and-go situation. Meltzer also noted that even though he was surprised to see Danielson back earlier than expected, he knows that The American Dragon is a team player.

Bryan Danielson had been sidelined with a broken arm since suffering the injury in a match at the AEW and NJPW Forbidden Door PPV Event last June. A report came out a few days earlier, stating that Bryan Danielson was expected back in action in October, possibly in time for the October 1 WrestleDream PPV Event.
