Backstage News On Changes To Last Night’s WWE Raw Visual Appearance

— Last night’s WWE Monday Night Raw in North Little Rock, Arkansas presented a somewhat altered visual experience, and as per a report from pwinsider.com, there’s a logical explanation behind it – constraints imposed by the Simmons Bank Arena.

— The report highlights that the 25-year-old venue lacked the infrastructure to support WWE’s current lighting rigs, which typically hang from the arena’s ceiling. The concern was exacerbated by accumulated snow on top of the arena, raising doubts about the structure’s ability to bear the load. Consequently, WWE had to resort to using a lighting truss supported by towers rising from the ground. Additionally, the production featured a smaller staging setup compared to the usual larger set, and adjustments were made to the deployment of pyrotechnics.

— Any concerns about this becoming WWE’s new standard can be alleviated, as it seems to be a temporary measure prompted by adverse weather conditions in the city. This adjustment is not indicative of the company scaling back on production elements, particularly in light of recent changes at the top, but rather a necessary adaptation due to the inclement weather.
