Contrary to the initial belief that “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay would inevitably sign a full-time contract with All Elite Wrestling, the situation has taken a different turn.
According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE has expressed significant interest in securing Ospreay’s services, and there have been preliminary discussions between the two parties. WWE has already made initial approaches to Ospreay.
In addition to WWE, AEW and TNA have also shown interest in signing Ospreay, having had positive working experiences with him recently.
With various promotions looking to extend their presence in the European market in 2024, including plans for NXT Europe and IMPACT rebranding to TNA with a heightened European focus, Ospreay has several legitimate options to consider.
Sources from NJPW have indicated that while they would like to continue working with Ospreay, they don’t anticipate offering him the same type of full-time deal that he had in the past.
